down towards the bottom there is a prelude thats running 18x9.5 +30 w/ 235 40 18 tires. The rims that you posted up (18x9 +15) will stick out .3" further. They come with smaller more stretched tires, so that will help fitment, but 18x9 +15 will take A LOT of work and A LOT of camber/fender pulling

actually it may be the same fit with the one u posted, because you posted the +30 with another 1/2 inch in width. As opposed to the ones the op is trying to buy, which are 1/2 smaller width wise, and a 15mm lower offset, which equals out to the same. give or take a few mm. BUt wheel size plays a big part.

but those wheels are too expensive, you can do better for that price!

I got a .3" difference using this calculator

maybe it is wrong, or I plugged in the wrong numbers

disregarding the tires, because that can be changed. but just by doing numbers the sizes are identical. The offset, and width of those 2 sizes cancel each other out.

half a inch is about 12-13mm, and you have 30mm-15mm = 15mm,

But that 235 that guy has is way to wide for what hes trying to fit, he could easily get that with a 225/40 it woudl be perfect! Bu ttire brand and all that comes into play......its just too much...lol

when measuring offset its from the center of the wheel. the half inch is only 1/4 on each side.

The 18x9.5 et30 will have 6.4" of backspace with 3.1" from the hub. The 18x9 et15 will have 5.6" of backspace with 3.4" from the hub. So the 9.5 should be recessed .3" more than the 9.

Also I think the fronts on the lude I posted are et35 so theres a little more.

i wasnt measuring it like that, i was just measuring it for purposes of the amount of poke he will have from those wheels compared to the other set. But i see waht your saying. that was just my shorthand off the head thought.
