Seems as though the State of GA managed to steal our wholly-owned ATM company (and one of the largest in the world as far as volume) of 125yrs from its headquarters in Dayton, OH by offering NCR 98 Million in incentives to move. The company has relocated its headquarters to Duluth, GA and has closed two other satelite locations in both Colorado and Arizona. This means approx 1600 jobs between Duluth, Columbus and Peachtree City, GA of all types.

So... once you check the website and fit the bill for whats out there, please apply. The least I can do is share the info, even though its affecting my state and its workforce. Info from what I understand (as I work with 2-3 departments in NCR) the work available would range from field work with installing, deinstalling ATMs, to project managment, implementation, orders/input-output, HR, recruitment and a few contract gigs etc.

APPLY HERE (http://ncr.com/about_ncr/careers/apply_now/search_us_opportunities_1.jsp) for NCR direct hire roles.

APPLY HERE (http://www.gtsamerica.com/htm/)for contracting gigs and see the below listed post for more info.

I searched but couldnt find it again.

There was an article on bloomberg a few weeks ago about jobs leaving union states for non-union states in order to lower non production related costs. According to the article, for every job being created, there were 2 jobs either leaving the state or going away completely.

WorkForce Bump and yes, they're still hiring. Now that I've left NCR and returned back north to my original employer. I know now that there are even more jobs available and they're hurting for ATM installers. Chase took on almost 100% NCR and we have work EVERYWHERE in all of the states Chase has a footprint. I would assume it's a good time to stop in, at least as a contractor. Because if it is this busy now, once all the upgrades and installs complete, they will retain quite a few to maintain the new fleet.

And from my stint at NCR, I know they will fly u in (either OH or to GA) and train you, pay a reasonable salary (I assume) and fly u to whereever the work is, if you're willing.

APPLY HERE (http://www.gtsamerica.com/htm/) for contracting gigs. Sarita is awesome and this contracting company works closely with the hiring managers in NCR and is preferred for bridge-line work. Pay is reasonable and can be negociated (as I did before I transferred to GA) they WILL NOT pay for relocation, but will make an approriate attempt to help you if you're a non-local as a contactor.

Otherwise apply directly and refer to the OP.
