Ok so its time to upgrade the system. I am going to tell you guys right at the start that this will be a few month project, so dont get mad when I dont have an update for a week or so but here is the run down of parts.

What I currently have:
Corsair 700D
i7-940 CPU
Sparkle GTX 480
8 3000rpm Scythe 120mm Fans
3 packs of black mesh coverings
2 packs of green mesh coverings
Scythe 4 way fan controller w/ LCD temp readout
Green LEDs

What has been ordered:
EK-Supreme LT Acetal+Nickel CPU block
2 EK-FC480 GTX - Acetal+Nickel GPU blocks
EK-FB RE3 - Acetal+Nickel Rampage 3 Extreme block
800D Side panel with window
6GB Corsair DDR3-2000 Dominator GT RAM
ASUS Rampage 3 Extreme
Another Sparkle GTX 480

What I am waiting for money for:
Res for water setup
Fittings
Ram cooler
Pump
4x120 Radiator
Corsair AX1200 (more that I am waiting for this to come out and not the money part...LOL)

Well to give you a little run down about me and the system. I am a mechanical engineering student and I do A LOT of AutoCAD work. This rig is for that, but mostly for Folding@home honestly. It will run 24/7 once it is up and going and the only time folding will not be running is when I am doing homework, and then it will just be push to one gpu and not two, and only 50% CPU usage.

Here are some pics of what I currently have in the room. I will start to cut things up later this week and weekend and update things and we go.

Look forward to showing you guys my folding rig and also look forward to the ideas, and criticism you guys have.

The parts are starting to come in!!

Here are a few pictures of stuff that I have already. More updates as my EK shipment arrives, as well as my ASUS board, other GTX 480 card, and other small things...

Hulk case thanks!!

Well if you look at the Hulk case you will see that I borrowed the mobo tray idea from him. I think the cable management for the Obsidian is AWESOME, but a little overkill for what I want to do. You will see everything unfold once I get my AX1200 supply in. Until then, enjoy the pics of the MOBO tray, and the fan controller starting to get changed up a little.

**Just added, starting to wire up fans for the fan controller.

THANKS

Mobo tray complete

After waiting forever for the stuff to dry. I can say that the mobo tray cover is done (for now). Due to the humidity, the normal drying time was nearly doubled. Time to wait for more parts to come in now. Enjoy
