This was our first race on the VQ35 and we are having some overheating issues. I'd get about one good lap and had to back it down. The ECU was pulling power (http://www.b15sentra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=180980#) over 210 and a lot of power over 220. It was about 98deg ambient and 160deg or so on the track.

So not a good representation of what the car (http://www.b15sentra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=180980#) can do, but it was a decent shakedown. We almost cracked the 1:3Xs.. about a tenth off. Still came in 3rd of 11, and beat out all the M3s (6 of em). Next week (7/23) we are racing in the Ultimate Track Car Challenge at VIR.. against Vipers, etc. We'll get killed but that shouldnt stop you from wishing us luck!

Enjoy

Awesome Joe I can't wait until we do some more track days together..

Congrats on the 3rd place but err...um... must've been some slow/very mild M3's if they couldn't crack 1:40. I know M. McCoy 185whp 2750lb E36 325ish with bilstein shocks and h&R springs turns 1:40.0's on RA1's but none the less man, that Sentra is MOVING and is going to check out when you get the power there.

I think the heat kept everyone's time in check. It was pretty brutal out there and we had our own overheating issues. The times should come back after August. We ran 1:43s with 180hp, so I expect we could turn a 1:37 for the TTB in the right conditions with the V6.

Its been a botch getting the car set up and running over the winter and spring, but slowly the pieces are coming together.
