Apparently talking about these 3 practically harmless drugs at work was enough to get me fired. Not taking them (I mean, I do but that was never brought up at work) but just talking about what they do was "setting a bad example" as a manger., This sucks. Lost my job for TALKING about 3 harmless drugs. Bullshit.

I would hardly consider LSD a practically harmless drug.

Sucks.

It's a societal norm to feel that way towards those "drugs." Don't blame the people though. Blame it on the educational system and media.

Get used to it.

Where did you work? Does that mean they're hiring now? I need a job.

You're naive if you thought talking about 3 illegal "controlled substances" wouldn't land you in some hot water. I'm sure it'd be fine if I sat in my cubicle talking about the benefits of mind-altering experiences..... /s

I don't see how talking about them is a bad thing. As long as u aren't using or selling them.

Only thing that came to my mind is if customer's over heard bits and pieces of the conversation...?

Its not work place appropriate; especially if you work where customers could over-hear your conversation.
