i completely forgot that there was a big dip behind kroger this afternoon and thought it was just a big pool of water since it had just poured for 30 minutes.

i heard scraping and i saw that the dip had ripped off all of the bolts holding the front lip on except 1, and had folded the lip under the bumper.

i had to drive back home 2 miles with it folded under and had to figure out a way to unfold it without a floorjack.

i decided to back into my driveway which is on an incline hoping that it would force it back upright and it worked!

this is what it looked like once into the garage

and 20 minutes later with a handful of zipties (temp till wednesday afternoon)
this is what it looked like...almost good as new

Atlanta roads are the reason why CF lips won't touch my cars. Too much money can be spent on replacing them after an incident like that.

if you are thinking of ordering a new lip because of that damage, dont. Some fine sanding with like 2000 grit and some black trim paint (SEM or duplicolor) will make it look as good as new.
