Lets hear it. I'm not too concerned with tread life or looks, but how they hook at the track. Whether you had to let the tire pressure down or not isn't a problem, just that they will hold some power. I don't street race anymore, so how they act on the street isn't very important.

Well. The GTO has them if that lets you know how they act at the track. lulz.

They work fine for me. I will be buying another set when they wear out.

ET Streets FTW.

I think the Nitto's should be great once drag bags go on the goat. I can't knock them til then.

ET Streets FTW.

X2

My Nitto DRs were terrible on the street - had a spin at only 80mph on I-285 because of them letting go, when they were still new. My worn out ET Streets are much better to launch on.

Not for me.

My dad's Termi hates the Nitto 555R radials. No traction unless you take it real easy.

No chance. I had a set of the Nitto's last about 8k miles taking it easy. Civic's ET streets estimated life.... 2k miles MAYBE.

Lot of y'all gave bad reviews on the street, but did anyone lower the tire pressure at the track? That's all that matters to me.

Our ( me and my dad ) street experience is reflected on the track as well. We are switching to BFG KDWs after these are burnt up.

my BFGs lasted me 3000 miles TOPS on the street. I street raced on them about 10 times, tracked them once, and drove probably 2000 miles on them and they were TOAST.

Drag Radials are not for daily use they just wear out way too fast.

The ET Streets i had were on my old 2J 240 and they were great, but never driven on the street.

To be honest if all you have is that sentra in your sig, they are all about the same. You arent making enough power for it to really matter. The compounds are all about even when it comes to 13-14 second cars. I just went with what was in stock at Summit at the time.

Should be making around 300whp, so I think I need a little more sticky than regular street tires, lol.

Track is nice, BUT the streets are EVERYDAY.

300whp must mean it's turbo.

If you want track only tires then bfg or et streets is what i would stick with

I've used Nitto 555R at the drag strip before and they didn't give much traction even warmed up with pressure dropped.

Mind me asking what size they were?

I wanna say they were either 215 or 225/xx/15

Oh, ok. I was looking at the 245/45/17 so it's a pretty decent sized tire for a 17x7, but this thread has me second guessing my decision. Luckily I haven't ordered them... I just haven't found anything cheaper or as expensive.
