anyone know where a good DIY is for 2001 civic head gasket?

my retard brother over heated his civic and blew the head gasket, i dont live in GA anymore, and its been to long for me to be able to tell them everything to do to fix it without looking at it. so if anyone knows of a DIY somewhere on the internet, or can write a quick list of what needs to be done in what order, or what else needs to go ahead and be changed at the same time that would help alot! already told him he will have to get the head checked for warping/cracks or anything like that.

tell him to buy a chiltons ar ahynes manual and read it 3 times before screwing it up. that would take 2 pages t owrite up, he needs to follow the bolt pattern taking the head off or warpage, same for sutting back on. buy a book for $20 and possibly save him $500.
