Up for sale is my 2005 Bianchi Giro, 55cm. I bought this bike for $700 a few months ago and have put another $500 into it since then, I am only trying to break even. It has just been tuned by Roswell Bicycles on April 30th, 2010. Besides the "Pro Tune", they also aligned the derailleur hanger, overhauled the bottom bracket, installed brand new brake cables, installed brand new tubes for the tires, serviced the cassette, and last but not least, put a brand new set of Shimano RS30 wheels on the bike, the wheels alone were $300 (wheels literally have less than 80 miles on them). I have receipts totaling $500 for all of this work. The bike is beautiful and has full Shimano 105 components. I will also include my Cateye Enduro 8 bike computer and my Shimano SPD shoes, size 45. I wear a 10.5 in normal shoes and these fit me perfectly.

The ONLY thing this bike needs is some new tires in the near future, the current tires are fine for now but I wouldn't go on any long rides with them, they're showing some wear. Other than that this bike is in tip top shape and needs absolutely nothing.

When I bought the bike it had ALX 320 wheelset on it, but the rear axle was broken (front wheel is still in great shape). When I found out the rear axle was broken, I decided to upgrade to the Shimano RS30's. You can have the ALX 320 wheelset for free. If you can find the parts, you could fix the rear wheel and sell them for a profit or use them as a backup set.

I have only ridden it 100 miles since I got it in March 2010, I just don't have the time to enjoy it like I thought I would.

Feel free to contact me to come check out the bike, I commute to Atlanta from Roswell daily so I am pretty flexible on meeting up wherever convenient.

Asking $1,000.

How much does it weight, only 100miles and tires are worn??? Sounds like theres more miles on it. Priced to high you can be it on ebay for 500 NEW.

I said that I have only ridden it 100 miles since I bought it in March. The bike is a 2005 model, so I have no way of knowing how many miles the previous owner/owners have put on the bike. I can only speak for myself.

I would love to see somewhere offering this bike for $500 new. I checked eBay and found nothing. The wheels alone are $300, and that's the cheapest price you will find from any reputable dealer. I am flexible on the price, but I am not going to sell this bike for anything close to $500.

I am not 100% sure what the weight of this bike is. It has a carbon fork and carbon seat stays, which will help a little, but I will try to find a more accurate weight for you.

Thanks.

Nice bike. I just bought one at the first of the year so im not in the market. Try sorba.org/forum and list it in the FS section. Weight would be something around 21-22.5lbs, at least that would be my guess. My bike is a aluminum with a carbon fork and is around that weight.
