Pimp my Xbox

I got board and decided to tear my 360 to pieces. I ordered a few parts for it also. I bought a clear wind tunnel, clear fans with red LEDs and red LED strips to light up the inside.

So I tore it apart and cut a hole in the top.

I also decided to cut the DVD drive lid.

Well I painted the xbox, the face plate, the hard drive, the DVD drive cover and the top and bottom covers all satin black.

Since I'm putting red LEDs in it I decided to paint the front and rear XBOX360 red.(bad pics)

All thats left after the paint dries, is get a piece of plexi glass for the window and wait for the parts to come in. I really hope it works after I get it back together.

I'll update the pics as I get more work done to it.

I also moded my original xbox and PS2 with clear cases and LEDs and really liked them. I can't find any pics of them but they looked pretty good.

What finally made me mod my 360 was the new xbox that just came out. If this one crashes I'm going to get it. But until then I wanted to change it it a bit.

Got the glass mounted on the top cover last night. I cheated a bit on it and used some acrylic instead of plexiglass. I found the acrylic picture holders at wal-mart for $2.50 and cut them to size with my dremel. I hot glued them in and it came out great. I'm still waiting on my LED fan, LED lights and clear wind tunnel to come in(they should be here today).

UPDATE

I got my red LED fan yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't get my red LED lights and clear wind tunnel. The fan is super quiet and really lights up bright.
Hopefully the stuff comes in on Monday.

I got the rest of the parts I ordered today and installed them in my xbox.

Now I'm going to start looking into modding one of my wireless controllers to match. Paint it satin black and change the LEDs for red ones and maybe even light up the buttons.
