... i didn't see any USDM seats on ebay,
there are a few pair of JDM recaro seats,
amongst a SEA of fake crap
but no US spec seats ... which is what i want ... i know some people have them!

the usdm seats are rare?
i dont think so, i believe the JDM seats are "common" because of ebay, however still expensive
and everyone with usdm seats dont want to sell em, unless they can trade for jdm ones,
cause make no mistake, the jdm seats are awesome.

Rare enough you haven't found a set for yourself lol.

Well, only about 4,000 were USDM models between 97 - 01. I would consider that pretty rare. You may have buddies that have have USDM Type R a phone call away, but in my book that is rare. Consider a new typical Accord which sells 300,000+ units of the U.S. model in a typical year. Civic, same thing 300,000+ plus US models. Type Rs are even more rare than my MKIV @ around 7k TT models, with around 11K total production from 93.5 - 98. Evo the same with around 5k per year, i believe. So yes, i would consider USDM Type Rs rare.

I wouldn't consider JDM seats common either. You can get them easily b/c the price is so high not many people want to pay that much for seats. And yep, they are nice but at that price i would look around for Type R ones instead.
