Front end Conversion?

I was going to my gf's house around 11:45 this morning and less than a Mile from her house A Blue older model ranger was stopped in the opposite lane from mine About to cross over my lane into a driveway. When I was about 20 feet from him he preceded into the driveway and i locked up the brakes and swerved but couldn't avoid him.

The police officer said it wasn't her job to determine fault but can anyone tell me a possible reason as to how I could be at fault?

i hate to say it bro but chances are it is going to be your fault. the cop did pick a side....she just didnt tell you.....when you talk to insurance they will say its your fault and then you can choose to fight it/have them look over the case again......but chances are it wont get you anywhere....they will stand firm that its your fault. i had a accident with similar damage(no where near as bad as yours though but same spot) when a van passed me on my left and cut me off clipping my front end.

hope for the best though...fight your fight if you truly dont think it was your fault.....good luck getting the car fixed man.

How could it possibly be my fault?

1) He has front bumper damage so it is apparent that he turned into my fender.
2) He openly admitted that he wasn't paying attention and didn't see me coming.
3) He also claimed that he "lost" his license so all he had was a misspelled six flags season pass to prove his identity.

And yall still think i could be at fault?

Same shit happed too me, after talking too my insurance they took my side. But they didnt fix my car since i didnt have full coverage,kinda weired if you ask me how the insurance worked out.His insurance said i was at fault which i wasnt.I guess his insurance paid for his car since we never heared anything from them again.

Whoever gets the ticket is the person who is at fault. Did you get any info or at least a license plate.

I can't see the pics (filterowned), but I'm assuming he was making a left in front of you and you hit him. He is clearly at fault. But officer whoreface probably was too lazy, you'll be forced to fight his insurance company in court. I'd be on the phone and a royal pain in their ass until they fix it.

any word on this yet? has a adjuster came to look at your car? you should get a copy of the accident report ASAP.

Got my Police report back today. 7 Days later... And it is his Fault. So as soon as I get in touch with his Insurance It Will be towed to Curry's Collision to be fixed. :goodjob:
