So if you didn't see the fate of my last car, feel free to follow this (http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?287876-Ugh-fucking-deer.-Rainy-Day-Wildlife-Poor-RX-8&highlight=) link to see some carnage

Here's my new car, a 2006 Volvo S60R. I got the deal of a lifetime because it needed a new transfer case and some other work. Knocked the price down a ton and I have a brand new transfer case! It's a six speed btw

Sad to hear about the RX-8 but I would say that is definitely a worthy replacement :)

The power is great, the torque is such a nice change from the rotary engine. Turbo lag is basically non existent. The AWD system is nice too, it handles great from what I've driven so far.

Haha, I'll get right on registering. Just registered for swedespeed.

And to the question of how much it costs, It was listed at around 14k w/ 90xxx miles, but then I had it independently inspected and it needed work so they covered the work and dropped the cost and dealership fees.

Kinda funny to see this. I was at my dealer the other day and they were working on one of these. Same color and everything. When I used to work for Volvo I used to go and drive these every once in a while. The only problem with these is that just like every other Volvo the AWD system is FWD based for economic reasons.

I do love these though good upgrade have fun with it.

It's actually kind of cool because the guy traded this in for an RX-8 and I got it after my RX-8, so it was the ole switcharoo. And yeah I'm not a huge fan of FWD but the rear wheels do spin enough for me to get over it, and it'll be a fun thing to tool around at college while still getting better mpg than the RX-8

I concur, but for now all my spare funds are going towards some savings for college so as for right now, the car is staying bone stock

Because Top Gear should be trusted as a reliable source of car reviews... Ha to each his own man. Might just pull on the G35 (I just looked at your previous threads, Idk what you have for sure. Correct me if my research is out of date). Right now, a 4 door is a great college car and still fits the bill for a bit of spirited driving. I for one think it looks pretty classy. I love G35's though so I love what you are rolling around with. I was close to getting a G35 sedan too.
