I was driving to Miami today, and bringing down the stuff my roommate asked for. I made it as far as Orlando, and my car started acting funny. I couldn't steer and it gradually got worse. As I try to pull over the care completely loses control and slams into the guard rail and I spin for a few times until I come to a complete stop somewhere in the middle of the road.

I get out of car....dazed and I noticed my wheel is gone and a good 100 feet up the road.

Im shocked that I didn't crash into anybody, or worse, flipped.

Somebody must have been really watching out for me.

Right now, I'm in a Red Roof hotel, waiting for my oh so concerned roomie to get her fish and turtles....oh and to pick me up.

Ok, let me straighten this out. The car didnt act funny until i made it through the Florida Turnpike past the first toll booth. And the wheel sheared off the boot, not the lugs. So anyone else want to make some smartass comments? This thread wasnt made for your trolling QD. It was for my friends, letting them know that I was ok.

The car can be fixed/replaced, you cannot. But you posted this in WL... Did you really expect not to have trolling?

Ah. I didn't know where else to post it. I should have known better. Now I have to find a new car. Being carless in Miami sucks. Maybe I can find a clone of my previous vehicle for cheap?
