Authentic, real deal R32 GTR front brake calipers. This is not 300ZX turbo calipers. These are lighter, slightly wider and have better cooling efficiency then 300ZX turbo calipers when used with the matching R32 brake rotors. Brakes were never mounted due to selling of my 240SX and have been sitting in my closet since. These will mount up to most Nissan 240SX, 300ZX with just regular 300ZX turbo brake mounts. Also would use 300ZX turbo hardware and seals which can be bought at any auto parts store. Previous owner spray painted them black, they are normally dark grey. Please ask for more additional pics.
For spec sizing on what makes R32 brake calipers different from 300ZXs;
R32 GTR : 296mm x 32mm (4 pot sumitomo caliper)
Z33 NA : 324mm x 32mm (4 pot brembo caliper)
Z32 NA : 280mm x 26mm (4 pot sumitomo caliper)
Z32 TT : 280mm x 30mm (4 pot ali sumitomo caliper)
From Nissan Courtesy Parts Texas:
The Skyline GT-R (R32) brake system will improve the ultimate braking performance of the 300ZX by increasing the brake pad swept area by 6.8% and internal cooling capacity by 82% over the OE front brakes.
NOTE: A significantly greater improvement in internal cooling capacity (136%) will be obtained on early (up to 7/90) non-turbo models as these were equipped with the "small" 26mm brake rotors.
The lightweight 6-1/2 lb aluminum front calipers are designed to clear the larger uni-directional cross-drilled rotors which are 295mm in diameter and have a width of 32mm.
300ZXs produced from 4/92 (turbos from 7/92) are equipped with heavier 10 lb front cast iron brake calipers, finned aluminum unfinished calipers were available before 04/92 with 26mm or 30mm widths.
