is bad. Very. I feel asleep while driving to N.C. about 2 am Saturday night and put the BMW into a few orange cones. The panic of waking up in all that caused me to over correct and nearly flip the car over. Damage is minor but the least of the worries. My gf, myself and our dog were all unharmed thankfully. She was napping at the time. I will never drive tired again. Its not worth it.

Glad you're ok. A couple of my friends have done the same thing. Some weren't as lucky as you.

It's crucial to make sure you have a good alignment and set the cruise control before attempting to take a nap.

I once drove from Macon to NY nonstop....left at like 4am, and got up there at like midnight the same day. BAD IDEA. I was tired and my eyes were bloodshot like a mofo. Redbull was my best friend the whole trip. I had cans of it all over the passenger floorboard, and some scattered throughout West Virginia.

i just got back from omaha nebraska from the national nissan convention.....it was a long ass drive.....the way there was worse than the way back.....it was like 1000 miles there and 1000 miles back. i had the radio on full blast and was drinking coke out of the can the whole way. there was still times i felt like i was gonna fall asleep.....see the problem becomes when you start to play that im just gonna close one eye for a sec and let it rest game.....then you switch......next thing you know you hear the dont run off the road lines.....LOL few close calls.....by the time i got there because i was working on the car before i left i was on being up for 40 hours strait....then i got like 6 hours of sleep. the drive back was ok......by the time i got tired i was 170 miles out.....i just drove faster at that point since i had not seen many cars on the road at all.....it was good time. plenty of track time for everyone and lots of car swapping/rental cars no one gave a fuck about made for a great time.

I either drink red bull or slap myself in the face a couple times to snap out of it...but it's only effective for like 5 minutes
