I say no. Unless it's a BALLER Mercedes. Like an SLR.
what benz do you have paul? is it black right now?
it is a black c230 kompressor (hatch coupe)
and SLR bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh seriously? if i had that much to spend on a ride it wouldn't be a benz.

If it really is a C230 hatch I say DEFIANTLY NOT.
I wouldn't buy an SLR either, just saying in my opinion matte black can only be pulled off on something really exotic.

i say no.
UNLESS you have aftermarket wheels with aggressive offset, aggressive stance and at least a front lip or some type of body mods.
thats just my opinion though :dunno:

Paul, don't go matte. Stay with gloss - resell value will be much higher, and matte will get played out over time, unless you have a really specialized car.

i have staggered wheels/lowered now (19x8,19x10) but i'm gonna do new matte black wheels, lip kit, shave badging/grill, and black out lights.

why you gotta bust my balls? na that shit be done for a while now... i actually had new black housing HID setup but bitches wouldn't fit.
I love how everyone says what is played out... I had a matte black euros back in 2000 - now you see every 240 or "drift machine" try to do it w/ spraycans. Maybe I should go HELLA FLUSH to gain street cred lol. Losers.

Matte black was nothing special in 2000 either, it's just that the 240 crowd IS what has made it seem played out, unless you're in something special though than it can be pulled off sometimes.

I say do it if that's what you like, but for the love of God, please quit calling it murdered out. Nothing about a solid black vehicle, has any relation to murder. Lets just try blacked out. That sounds more efficient.

To me it also depends on the car. AMG or Black series Benz, murderd out can look appropriate. A hatch? I don't think so.

I think I matte white would look great on your car. There are few cars that pull off matte black well to me. In the end you make the decision. It could look good I guess, just depends on the kind of matte black you go for. Not all are the same.
I'm with a few people on here that matte black only looks good on exotic looking cars. Otherwise I think it just looks lazy :)
