Hey everyone I have a lil project that Im about to do and have yet to find a good DIY anywhere on the internet. So.. Im going to do my own. I have found diagrams, videos and some pinouts but not all on one page. If anyone can help me out that would be nice if not I got this. Im going to put a lot of information up here so I hope this will help others that may what to do this. I got this cluster off of Ebay yesterday.

EM2 Cluster I bought off of Ebay... LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380177638615&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT)

Here are a couple of videos I found so if you have never see this you will know why I want to do this. The red cluster comes in coupes and the blue cluster comes in the sedans.

Here is the red and you can obviously tell this is in an EK.

Everything works or should I say will work. I have heard that the gas needle is a lil off but Im going to look into that as well and see if a fuel sending unit from a 03-05 Civic will fix that. Ill update this over the weekend with pics of the plugs that Im going to play around with. I have a friend that works for Honda that is getting the the pinouts for the EM2 and the EK clusters. I will post thoses as well when I get some time...

I now have the EM2 gauge cluster plugs and as full set of EK cluster plugs. I will have a write up on the difference in the two sets of plugs and how to depin both types of plugs. Im taking pics of how to do it now and should have them up tomorrow. Keep an eye out tomorrow afternoon for a new update...

I been busy but Im taking time to add a quick post here on a few things I have found out. The plugs in the 01 up Civic's have changed a lot. There are only two plugs now (blue and green) where as the 2000 and old Civic have four to five plugs. I have some pictures here that will show the difference. To put an EM2 cluster into an EK you HAVE to have the EM2 cluster plugs. I have found out a lot more but will have to post more when I have time.

Here are the EM2 plugs:

Here is pretty much what the EK will look like. These plugs came out of an automatic.

There is a big difference in the two sets of plugs. At this time it looks like I may have to cut and solder the EM2 plugs to the EK wire harness. Nothing to really worry about. This can be done. Just have to make sure the wires are matched up. I am verifying all of the pin outs now. My cluster should be here today and I will post pics some time tommorrow when I get some time.

Thanks!!
