VW hands down. i mean...look at those two VW pics u just posted. that look was just made for those cars. although hondas can pull it off nicely...VW is the bawse.

on the flip side...hondas can still look good without flushed wheels but i hate to see VWs like that...

Unfortunately the VW scene has influenced what many consider to be "JDM" nowadays. They were doing it before these "Hellaflush" trenders were born. The honda's look great but I must say VW all tha way.

Between the two, VW's were on the fitment train first while Hondas were doing other things. Hondas/Nissan fitment is more comparable to VIP platforms which utilize camber to obtain a TOTALLY different breed of fitment. So although you can compare the two you kinda cant. if that makes any sense. VW created the chicken. but Hondas evolved the game and created the chicken sandwich :o

its cool if you like that kind of stuff, but i think the drivability would totally suck ass, and you would go through tires every 6 months rofl.

who cares? the whole "fitment" scene is about bringing everyone together regardless of the brand of their car.

None of those are supposed to be daily drivers and im sure the owners knew all about that when they were working on their cars.

Gotta pay to play. Drivability isn't bad at all.

Hell, I'm DD-ing my $8,000 set of wheels and tires and I still drive "hella" aggressive. The next set is going to be even more crazy. :)

i would say vw but with the right wheel, hondas look good too. you posted some bad ass hondas and some so so vw's. post some better looking vw's and then most will say vw. those nissans are fucking bad ass too.

I must agree with V dubs doing it best, but that's not to say that hondas look bad this way. Like someone said earlier in the thread, the tire wear is awful depending on the camber. The only thing that sucks about hondas is that this is probably just a trend for now.

there is an angle on any fender.. having the wheel going parallel with the fender angle is more than acceptable.

Go to the dank VW thread. Then kill yo self.

Like someone said, VW's aren't hella flush. They're VW's. German cars were doin this shit way before all the Hondas hopped on the trend. But it doesn't really make sense to pose the question of which looks better with the current stance trends, you're pretty much asking if people prefer Honda or VW in general.

Nerdsrock22

A stanced Honda will never look as classy as a stanced VW. End of story.

That being said, a VW could never pull off the boutique track beast look of say, a J's Honda.

what do i hate on? we'll see if you really know me.

DO said it well. There are different fitment styles, static/bag, stretch/not, flush/poke. Every bodies got a different flavor they like. Now if this thread was made to see WHICH flavor everybody on IA likes better, thats understandable, but to put two car makes against each other on fitment when the way the majority of each brand get their cars "fitted" as they deem appropriate is silly.
