You will need a Scotch-Brite pad, clearcoat, black paint, spray gun, and a compressor.

First, scuff up the lenses with the scotch-brite. Then mix clearcoat with hardener as instructed, usually 4-1, then mix in black paint about the same amount of hardener you used, if not a little more. Apply coats until you are happy with the results. Don't be afraid of them being too dark, your brake lights will still be visible, that is the miracle of clearcoat. First coat will barely tint the lenses, so don't be afraid to mix in a little more black as needed. Here are a couple of mine. Please don't use the crappy tint rattle can. The CRX is a prime example of 2am, too cold to paint tint. This results in fish eye (These CRX lenses will be redone).
