ok, so i bought a new starter and im having the same problem. all i get is a click when i hit the remote start or try to start it w/ the key. if i hit the key a number of times, it clicks then eventually starts. if i start the car at the stater, it starts with no problem. im thinking its a voltage problem. that would piss me off b/c i just got this shitty ass auto zone ass duralast battery about 3 months or so ago. its on a 98 civic. any help?

my bad. kinda left out the important stuff. 98 civic, stick. all connections are solid. grounds are at 0 on my multimeter. im almost sure its a voltage problem. when i put the battery charger on it, it starts everytime. as long as the battery shows 12.8v, it starts. when drops below that, all i get is a click. even at 12.7v!!
