na, arp's are not the same as stock, stock is around 65, but the ARP's are a good bit more.

i've always done 45 in a certain order... go back and take it to 65 in same order and then wait 24hrs to till i re torque to 85lbs... i've never had any issues doin it like that but others my see this as incorrect

and of course as a disclaimer, i am not a technician... just a gear head.

I do 81 ft. lb's. I have the instructions. It says that with oil, but I'd rather just use the arp lube and 81. I've never had any problems as far as the headgasket is concerned. Of course do a multi step torque. I did 20,60, the 81.

holy shit you guys are trying to fuck shit up.

70 lbs with MOLY LUBE, and 85 lbs with 30 weight. THAT IS IT! Don't fuck shit up, take it from someone who torques these things ALL OF THE TIME.

USE MOLY, if you dont have eny, GO TO A MACHINE SHOP, im sure they have a little packet laying around. I HATE using oil, it never feels right.

Waiting 24 hrs to re-torque does absolutely nothing. HEAT CYCLES cause a stud to settle, you have to run it. If you use AEBS or GOLDEN EAGLE head studs, you don't have to re-torque.
