Hey all,
I was planning on putting some subs in my car. Would two 8's be enough? and would it still be comfortable to sit and drive while the subs are behind the seats? Or should I get one 10
...and about the amp, should i get a 300W or a 600W?
Thanks,

Depends, how much room do you have? What sub? Can't recommend an amp if we have no idea what the sub is.

I was looking at 8 inch subs more so i can sit comfortably when driving or i can always just get one ten inch sub.
and what's the difference between a single voice coil and a double voice coil subwoofer?

Some companies make shallow mount subs that would save a lot more room. I know Memphis does, idk who off the top of my head.
The difference between single and dual voice coils is the dual gives you more options as far as wiring goes.
my buddy had 2 10s in the bazooka tubes in his 95 mr2...still was pretty comfortable

A JL Audio 13WT5 shallow mount subwoofer would be MORE than enough for that car, its very compact (about 2.5" thick) and only needs about .8-1.0 cubic feet to work great. They are a little on the pricy side, but I have NEVER heard another shallow woofer that can even come close to the performance. That with a solid 500 watts RMS and you will be thrilled. They retain a full 10mm of excursion so you can really get the low notes unlike *most* 8's and other shallow subs. I had one in a standard cab Ranger running on a Memphis Belle and it was amazing.
