well guys 2 Fridays ago as some of you know, I had some issues at the track. For the ones the don't know the alternator belt came off and got wrapped up into the timing belt(I know, I should of had the timing cover on) Pulled the plugs and didnt like what I saw. Pulled the head and sure enough drop some valves and damaged a piston.

I think the time has come where I'm going to part out the hatch. I have had to many problems with this car and have spent way to much money and its all down the drain now. Maybe one day soon I will be able to build another car.

I will still be in here to MOD the KF and still be out racing just not in my car or me doing the racing

yes the 2 B16 i have for sale and the ones i used. the one thats in it now that i just got and has 20k-30k miles on it(with me only putting about 1000 miles on it) and i have my spare B16 with unknown miles on it

How is it a lame excuse, he messed it up twice within the last month or 2. Maybe he wants to go on to something bigger and better?

Its easy to say that when you have an almost bone stock B16.

As for the comment about "the wrong people building your engine" if you would have read his actual post, the reason his motor has had issues has FUCK ALL to do with assembly of the engine.

The best engine builder in the world cannot stop catastrophic mechanical failure. His fucking alternator belt broke which/got tied up with the timing belt. Shit happens when you go fast. it sucks, but i can understand where he is coming from.

Good luck NEMO, ive been in your position before, sometimes its best to just take a step back and re-evaluate.

If the motor had timing covers (i dunno if it did assuming it didnt) then that wouldnt have happened. So its an on the fence kinda response, but it doesnt have anything to do with engine assembly "internally"

Hindsight is always 20/20 when it comes to stuff (timing cover, etc) I can understand you wanting to move on and just getting frustrated with it. That's why the DSM got parted out. It was stupid little stuff that was overlooked that ended up costing me all the money I had into it. GL, man.
