ok so i had a off day today and got kinda bored so i got the idea to try to paint a lil bit just to try it out.........

looks pretty good!but i think im too lazy to wet sand it and clear when it dries soooo yeah

also painted my side moldings which were very ashy and gray, now, nice and black

for my first time,i think i did a decent job and it looks a lot better then faded and ashy gray!!! What ya think?

For your first time that's not bad at all. :) I used to rattle can stuff all the time and once you do a nice clear coat and polish it out people couldn't even tell it was rattled lol. I had to tell em' :) Best of luck on your future painting!

LoL thanks :) I've done away with the rattle can for an HVLP setup for a while now. Much more in cost, but it's handy to have lol. :) BTW love your sig! +reps!

I've seen some dayum good rattle can jobs before, sometimes skill and luck factor in. Besides this looks pretty decent, but I would go ahead and put a clear coat on

what does HVLP stand for?

high volume, low pressure. its your typical professional painters spray gun.

Road racers use tape on the head lights to keep the glass from going all over the road should a rock or something crack the lens. I'm guessing that's the case here. Later, QD.

I know QD. To my understanding it's a safety thing required by road racing rules incase you bump into the walls or stuff like that.

Why don't you put that head on the CRX, and have an almost cool car... instead of two that suck.

long story short, theres a b20 vtec waiting for the crx and the hatch is my daily, im just collecting parts as i go, no big rush!
