Mountain Dew...

This, by far, is my most favorite soft drink. Most of you may know about the contest of the three new flavors they're promoting. MD Typhoon, MD Distortion and MD White Out.

Any of you tried any of these yet? I've had the Distortion and Typhoon. I actually liked the Distortion one and did NOT like the Typhoon at all. The Typhoon one is a fruit punch flavored MD. Distortion tastes kind of like Squirt (if any of you have ever had that).

Which is your choice if you've tried them? Later, QD.

I've cut back tremendously as well. Up until last Thanksgiving, I was downing about a 12 pack of MD a day at home and 3 or 4 plastic bottles a day at work. It was nuts! Now I'm down to maybe 3-4 bottles a week and I don't buy 12 packs. Later, QD.

IMO Typhoon seems like it has the potential for some good hunch punch. It is tasty though, had some at FD.

I always like MD Livewire, and the original MD of course. Never been much on any of the other varieties, I'll definitely give the new ones a try though.

normal mtn dew + blue powerade in the corect combination creates the same taste.

I'm a Dr. Pepper person myself, but the Distortion isn't bad. A little too much lime taste though. Of the three, the Distortion should stay. Code Red tops my list though.

As for the new flavors. I like the White Out best .Typhoon is too familiar and generic...and the Distortion is like non-alcoholic Bud Light w/lime..I don't like it at all.

I really need to swing by a store and buy all of the new flavors...I am a big supporter of Mountain Dew...as in there last contest I think I wasted in the range of 500-600$ at QT just buying the flavors of the last contest!

Try the Typhoon then distortion first it will be a waste of money. Then try the White out, you will be surprised how great it taste.

I've seen em, but I'm a tea drinker and I can agree that the throwbacks were the best, natural sugar tastes much better than HFCS. I havent tried any of those yet, but I may do so now that people need opinions.
