Several good choices in the $100 range. For fear of being a fanboy, however, I will agree with Sina that Polk Audio is the way to go.

Having said that, just about every major manufacture has a set of coax speakers in the $100 range....Infinity, Polk, Alpine, Rockford, Memphis, Pioneer, MTX, and more.

If you really want to do your homework, grab 3-4 of your favorite CDs, and go visit a few shops in your area. Listen to music you know well on different speakers. See what sounds good to you, and fits your budget. Remember though, how your hear things a given sound room, is NOT necessarily how it will sound in a car....most speakers will sound BETTER in a car compared to a sound room. I stress, most, not all.

We all have our favorites....

just my opinion.

Polk DB Series are great speakers for the price. If interested, we sell it for much lower than $100.

No, installation is $45/pair. With the installation, we can also apply Stinger Sound Deadener to the speaker location prior to mounting for free.

you will find a lot of speakers under 50 a pair. that doesnt mean they are good. and also all shops on here can pretty much get you speakers for 50 a pair but that is not a product anybody stands behind or guarantees . there is a reason everything has a certain price tag. but i guess you get what you pay for

Yeah, for that price all you are getting is entry level quality. Take the Infinity Referance series that are around $50...IMO, they actually compare to the Bass Inferno's that I sell for $20/pair. I can only speak for what I sell, but the first line that I have that is pretty good are the Rockford Fosgate Punch Series which are in the $$55-$65 range. For a few dollars more, I would go with the Polk's though.
