I frequent the stolen cars section, just to see who's shit is getting jacked.

I have realized that the majority of the people who have their cars stolen (and their friends that post in the threads) seem to lack intelligence. If they protect their cars like they communicate online; they are probably picked out by theives because they know how dumb their victims are.....

Just something I have noticed...

Alarms. Kill switches. There are many ways to protect your car. Getting on an online forum and bragging about your $1000 turbo setup isnt one of them...

That's why I'm happy have a two car garage.

exactly, most of these stolen cars are parked in public parking spots or in open driveways in shitty neighborhoods. When will people learn not to drive your boosted civic to malls and movie theaters ? If you wanna keep your car, act like like it. If you don't have a safe place to keep it, put your money in something else.

Exactly. Posting pictures of your brand new type R swapped civic with a Greddy Turbo Kit and a nice big picture of your $600 exhaust is only going to make a thief Salivate. The tag in the picture is an open invitation.

Captioning your picture with "we gotz that pimptyte shiznit. 5 gran worf of partz on dis bitch. try meh homie"

might as well be telling someone that you're so fucking retarded that you probably left the keys in the ignition and a $20 bill in the console for gas...

I know right? It's like me, when I first got that bike I had, I took and posted pics. But, I also spent the 2 minutes that was needed to remove my tag. I mean a pretty good amount of people on here know where I live, but I don't go blasting it out with my full address and all.

There's a reason I don't post in the FORCED INDUCTION or GENERAL TECH sections. Know why? It's because I don't make it a habit to post about things I don't know much about. When I post something, I post it because I am certain of it. You should try it sometime. There's a reason why people see me as being not just a smart ass, but just plain smart.

c'mon man, lets be realistic here,9 time out of 10 the peoples who've cars have been stolen from IA werent stock, they were modded.rarely do you see anybody posting about a stock honda being stolen

Come on, man, can you not see the lunacy in your post? You didn't really expect to be taken seriously on that, did you? At the very least, 9 out of 10 people on here do NOT own a stock Honda. This is what I mean about my reply to the first quote. Know what you're talking about BEFORE you talk. Later, QD.

Aside from what Echo said, it would also depend on the modded Civic. Not trying to bash your car (it's not what I do), but if I were to have a choice between yours and a stock one, I'd take the stock one after seeing yours. I would assume that thieves would see yours and think it was cheap and not mess with it. Later, QD.

Haha why are you hating on this guy?

He's right, a modded civic is worth more to thieves just for the aftermarket parts and we all know it.

Oh I get it, it's cool to hate on hondas now - which is ironic considering ia got started on modded civics tbh.

And to the op, what's your example of the stolen car that deserved to be stolen?

Somebody posted their jdm tiite whip yo thread with pics and then a stolen thread a week later?

You do realize that a flatbed and a taser are all it takes to get any car, right?

If they want it, they will get it: hell my friends in Cali have had their house and garage broken into for bone stock itr's. :/

For some reason people treats cars like a human being. I have insurance full coverage on everything I own a home and everything is covered . I could care less if anything I own gets stolen just because it is a material thing and can always be replaced!
Some people put the wrong things first in their lives rather the most important ones.

Now if we are talking about a life well that is completely different there.
