I'm 0/3 on successful deliveries.
First time I bought furniture I was the last stop, I was sleeping on a floor waiting for my bed...thats another story
This time, I bought an entire condo worth of furniture, roughly 10k worth of furniture. Its my first place, I saved up for 9 months, I wanted quality stuff.
They tell me when I bought it that two pieces would be delayed a month they were on backorder, no problem it was a hutch and a table and I bought two tables (one will be put in the expansion I'm buying, another story). They tell me its going to be a morning delivery when I order it so I said great, I'll be there.
Friday rolls around, they call me to tell me my bedroom set is on backorder. I lose my cool, first off they waited for the last minute to tell me. Also they decided to tell me I was the last stop, like hell, I ordered an entire home worth of furniture, there is no reason for that shit. I tell them to cancel my order ill take my money and my business somewhere else. The manager says let me call you back to confirm cancellation. Amazingly, they managed to find my bedroom set and suddenly the morning delivery spot was open. Go fucking figure.
They deliver my furniture but apparently a lamp (yea a lamp from a furniture store) was out of stock (please note there were about 25 of them at the store 2 weeks prior). Also, my end table, my coffee table, and one of my chairs were damaged in the delivery. They told me this when they got there before they left as I was asking, where is the rest of my shit? So they say I have to wait til May 15th. I go to the store raise hell and they suddenly can get all the stuff May 07th, today. They then call me the next week, the two pieces originally on backorder are now on backorder until June 10th. They then call the next day and tell me sorry, its June 19th now.
I've already paid half of it off and I had intended to pay the following half this month but fuck that. They called me today apparently my coffee table has been damaged, AGAIN. How the fuck does this company stay in business? I'm not waiting for a manager to call because I'm going to tell them to come pick up every fucking piece of furniture and give me a refund because I'm tired of dealing with this fucking bullshit.
