if i put a 800w sub with 1000w amp in the trunk will it hit pretty decent where you can feel it and hear it or is it a waste of time? and how to you have your box set up. ive see the most common where i guess they take the jack and stuff out and put a box in there so it sits flush with everything back there but i would like to fit two 12s in there like i had in my accord but how small it is back there i cant even fit a shoe box back there. pics would be cool as well. just trying to see my options. thanks

Pure_JDM is actually selling his S2000 audio set-up. Talk to him about how he set it up and etc...

After awhile you'll be stuck with a "catch22" trying to tame the trunk lid and rear deck lid from adding that much power. 1 12'' sealed on 400-500 watts is about the most I would do in AP2 if it ever even gets a sub. You'll reach the point of diminishing return shortly thereafter.

If you're looking for an s2000 to "bump", then good luck sir.

^^^^ Dynamat. OP i thought this was cool, however due to the positioning of the sub idk how loud this setup is, i would personally do 4 jl w3 6's if it was my car. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/gallery/detail.php?vehicle_id=1492

Goto S2ki.com and look at the Electronics section for some ideas.
And fitting 2 12's in a S is like fitting Delta Burke and Rosie Odollal
in a Smart car. Just won't work too well.

The trunk in the AP1/AP2 is not the greatest for anything larger than
a couple 10s or 8s. Also the amount of room where the spare tire goes
is not enough to allow the proper amount of airspace for a 12. It is possible
to get 2 12s in the trunk, but there goes the little storage you do have, and
trunk rattle.....well no need to explain that.

Keep this in mind. When the top is up, it will sound great, as soon as the
top comes down, well there goes the sound.

But it is your car, so do what you want, and good luck with that.

Here is a site that does trunk enclosures

theres a pic of the box. fits very snug. it hits super hard. the box is very very good quality. not that thin cheap shit.

the amp is mounted underneath. spare tire had to go tho. oh well. and you can see the brackets that hold it from coming forward. all together i prob only weigh 25lbs more tops. so its not that heavy. the heavy part will be from the dynamat....which i do need but its not as bad as you think.

thats cool. im not going for show status. nobody is going to see/hear it except for me. sounds good. thats all that matters. i could care less how it looks as long as it funtional. same way i think of a car. it can look like shit example my drift car but im pretty sure performace wise itll take care of buisness.
