what would cause it? if i had bad rings wouldnt it smoke all the time?

what do your plugs look like dark and wet or dark and dry?.

or maybe it's just from the dirty exhaust? maybe all that high rpm pressure is able to blow out the dust/exhaust buildup? just an idea.

dark n wet with alittle bit of oil
