If the Datsun you list in your post is your "tuner" car, please don't ever refer to it as a "tuner" car again! That car is bad ass and should not be lumped in with the "tuner" cars. Later, QD.

Sorry... im not intending on "tuning" or modifying the car. I plan on restoring the car, possibly swapping the stock n/a l28 for a L28ET, and rebuilding the Trans. For a 30 year old car thats completely stock this thing handles like a dream and has a lot of power. biggest mods other then the possible turbo swap would be adding some nice old school mesh wheels and tires.

Very nice. You should bring it to the Old School Japanese Car Meets we have every other month. I drive a '79 Civic myself. Later, QD.

I wouldnt do anything but a fresh coat of paint and touch up the interior. Those cars looked amazing from the factory...

i plan on a full body/interior restoration once i get the power/drive train running right again... after the body/interior work is finished i plan on adding some nice wheels to complement the paint and nice suspension system upgrade so i can take my Z out and have fun with it.

just had to replace half the fuel system, fuel pump died on me at work, so i replaced the pump and filter, also when ahead and put new cap&rotor, wires, and plugs in. just to find i had a stuck valve... which i fixed today.... so all in all this is turning out to be one frustratingly fun project for me.
