Eagles | Owens had a Fight with Douglas
Sun, 6 Nov 2005 06:31:31 -0800
Mark Eckel, of the Trenton Times, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens had a fistfight with former defensive end and current team ambassador Hugh Douglas. The fight occurred in front of several of his teammates. According to one of the sources the Owens-Douglas fight "was like WWE Smackdown." Another source said both men threw at least two punches during the altercation and when it was over Owens challenged QB Donovan McNabb first and then everyone else in the room saying, "You want some. Anyone else want some." The Eagles refused to comment about the situation, other than the statement that revealed Owens' suspension. Owens and Douglas have been at odds since training camp and almost got into an altercation in an elevator at Lehigh University.
LMAO.... I can't wait til Brian Dawkins or Trotter go up to him and put him back in his place....
If the Eagles come on the field with more energy than usual and win this game, T.O is done in Philly.
lol they said he was in the tub when hugh confronted him so he went to the locker room to get some tennis shoes so he could get traction during the fight.

T.O.'s a pain in the ass, no team is going to want him, but someone will take him off Philly's hand at some point. The only issue I see is how much will a team be willing to give up in draft picks and such for T.O.? And is he worth all that hassle?

The really funny thing is that this whole shit has been about him wanting to get paid.... I guess it hasn't occured to him that after all this bullshit, NO team is going to pay him what he wants... Sure they'll offer him some 1 year contract, but nothing better than what he is/was getting paid with the Eagles.

You called it. Look at the other thread.
T.O. is an ass, period. He is the epitome of egos as big as paychecks. Eventually, someone will put him in his place. I hope they get it on video... ;)

i really didn't see it that bad, he was somewhat showin respect to a great reciever, like allen iverson or kobe bryant wearin a throwback jersey of another player who played for another team.

Michael Irvin doesnt play for the cowboys anymore, maybe i'd be more iritated if he wore a Roy Williams jersey...the Eagles never had a great reciever...so i dont see any jersey's he would wear for them
