while driving your mainly using your alternator so i dont think so, have you checked your timing, and sensors. maby a bad tps, map, ect.

like i said^. it sounds more like a sensor problem to me. ive had that happen and it was a bad timing n aicv. hows the idle?

thw idle is just a little high its at 1000 but as far as the car surging i dnt think its a sensor making the car surge

if its idling higher, surging and bucking on you the timing may have gone out of wach a little. that would affect the air/fuel ratio. making an improper mix with witch would make it bog out, sputter and act up on you. try retarding the timing via dizzy. if it makes it worse, try advancing it a little. also check up on codes, if you dont have a reader go to autozone. they check for free and print out. then again i could be wrong but thats all that comes to mind as of now. let me know how it goes. if i can think of anything else ill let you know. good luck

thsthanks but would a car timing get thrown out of no where and my check engine light is not on and could a misfire of a piston cause the car to Buck or surge because a couple of weeks again a random misfire code came up and I'm running real rich

a bad cam positioning or crankshaft sensor can cause the the car to buck

Oh ya and since it was tanning hard yesterday is it a possibility that water got sucked in from my inercooler and would that cause my car to buck

So today it stopped bucking and now it's idle is just high and I think this car need tuning done since the boost is changed from 8 to 10 pounds

ummm....yah you might want to get that checked out man. did you check for leeks? sometimes the couplers can slip under boost
