Broken Ankle Advice

So I broke my ankle playing hockey back in February. I'm now walking around in a boot and going to PT. The question I have is, are there any benefits of leaving my hardware (7 screws-1 floating and a plate) in or should I have it taken out in about a year or so?

I broke mine in two places riding moto-X a few years back. I would deff. have them removed when possible. You're gonna have a blast in airports ....

Your ankle has to undergo a lot of pressure, so having them still in isn't a bad thing. Have them take it out near the end of physical therapy.
