ok so i finally got around to replacing my wheel studs because the 3rd one finally broke off and i had to limp home riding on ONE wheel stud. so long story short, i beat out the old ones and beat in some new ones, but my question is, how do i make them sit flush with the hub because theres like 1mm of space between the stud mounting surface and the hub face,i tried beating them flush, c-clamps, vise grips everything and it wont budge. and yes i assure you they are the right one because i told him civic studs and i compared them to the old ones and they are the exact same. any help would help!

They have little grooves... They should fit flush if put in properly..

i think the machining process messed those grooves up, but so far its doing fine and hopefully since i tightned the lugs it pulled the studs all the way through
