Custom Spoiler making!

Just figured I would make a little post showing some behind the scenes photos. Ben started on this yesterday. We put in several hours of work (well mainly Ben although Jason, Deborah and I took turns helping out and offering our unprofessional opinions) on it yesterday. Remember work in progress ;) The foam on the underside will be gone. It was just there for sanding. More to come.

Not really like the wrx wing...I mean the wrx wing is lower like this rather than 15 inches tall like the Sti, but that is about as close as the two get.

Oh, I would not attempt it. I may be able to picture it in my mind and give thoughts on how I want it to look, but I am just not that good with glass....which is why Ben is doing the lions share of the work, lol.

soo.... do you guys still drive the car with the spoiler half done? lol. I mean, its a perfectly good STI, I'd hate to see it sit in a garage waiting for a spoiler..

Car is down for port and polishing the heads, multi-angle valve job, +1mm valves, and new cams as well as an engine refresh. So we have some time :)

I have seen a couple additional pics and it is coming along great! Ben just does not want anything more posted up until it is perfect. At the minimum he wants it in primer before more pics go up.

Haha, yeah this one most likely will not get a pretty finished coat. It is for making a mold from to produce light weight ones.

Basic shape is not going to change. I think he is just planning to smooth everything out once the shaping is done.
