So I'm changing the drums and wheel cylinders on my hatch driver side brakes went on pretty well bt the lines that go into the cylinders are stripped pretty bad and threads are on pretty good. Anyadvice on how to remove. Passenger side is the same but the drum will not come off I did the two 8mm bolts went all the way is but wouldn't pop off any advice would be great. And reps will be given

You have to put a hammer to them drums...

And What is striped? your Brake line going to the Caliper?

Aight driver side is don't just have to put new brake line on. But passenger side drum won't come off. The wheel cylinder is loose and there shouldn't be any pressure in it. Kinda looks like shoes are holding it on but it still spins.

Also, there should be two threaded holes in the face of the drum (where the lug studs are). Use two M8 bolts in those holes to force the drum off of the spindle. Just tighten them evenly and alternately.

Yeah that's what I tried first but the bolts will go all the way in. The drum will move out a bit but still won't budge.

Instructor walks over there " BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF IT" BOOM! its off.... gotta put some MUSCLE to it
