Mother's does make it and it works very well. With no rain, it lasts me a couple weeks.

Yes, it is called Mothers Back to Black, I've used it and still have a bottle, works great, restores all trim and black moldings etc.

I saw this stuff in a store and bought a bottle just to try it out. And i gotta say, I'm not impressed one bit. I squirt a little DuPont Teflon tire spray on a rag and get the exact same results. (if not a little better)

Save your money and just use your tire shine, it's hella easier and keeps you from getting two hundred bottles of different stuff in your detailing bucket.

I got this dye stuff from autozone it came with an application pad and everything.
I used it to redo my back panels on my hatch.
Turned out really good and still looks good.
Its called restore black

use the back to black to get it from faded to the nice black color. let it settle in for about an hour then do some tire shine+rag and itll last a wee bit longer and stay shinyer(SP?)
