code 10 yes..

And for 6 you need to change the sensor anyways.. and if you have VTAK, That shit aint gonna be poppin!

ECT is on the Right side of the head...near coolant hoses ( It screws into the head)

IAT is on your Intake mani.. 2 screws that hold this sensor in..

What engine?

yuppp..juss idless.. another question.. if the check engine light is off.. should the ecu still keep blinking ???

Black4DrEK

Idles? LOW TO HIGH... or just REVS HIGH or what man??? IF you have some Throttle body cleaner.. Spray that around all your Intake and throttle body gaskets... you possibly have a Vac leak... Spray it around the gaskets if the IDLE goes down or Choaks then replace that gasket(it has a whole or leak)

your ecu is still blinking the codes?

Sounds like the VAC leak...

Have you disconnected your neg battery terminal.. to RESET your ecu..

What is the ECU blinking? exact number? thats your codes..

10 & 16 quick blinks..
could the vac leak be that the coolant sensor isnt screwed all the way in?

Black4DrEK

Code 10 IAT

code 16 Fuel injector..

Vac leak isnt going to come from the Coolant temp... Coolant would just leak out of there.. well that is some sort of leak, but NOT it..

Do the throttle body cleaner trick.. and reset the ecu by taking Negative off the battery for a min...

If the codes are still flashing.. let me know...

Sea foam wont FIX many problems really... Its just a "cleaning" agent..

From your PM.. It sounds to me that you are, stressing to hard over the idle... you said it fine one minute, then shitty the next?

THER IS ONLY SO MUCH ONE CAN TELL YOU OVER THE NET, THIS IS WERE YOU PAY FOR SOMEONE TO LOOK AT IT...

So what's going on with this thing now?

Is your Fast idle valve screw tightened or do you have one?

What he's saying with the brake cleaner is to:

1.crank it up
2. Spray some brake cleaner/throttle cleaner on the intake gasket, throttle body gasket area. And see if the idle goes to normal if it does then whichever gasket is bad or something else in that area has a vacuum leak.
Actually had to do it today on a V6 intake at work. Had a fluctuating idle so I had to take the intake back off and clean the gaskets. Put it back together and was fine after that.

hey if it needs adjusting, anything head my way with the hatch you have there are certain things that will and won't work i know exactly what you have and i had the same thing, still have all injectors, sensors etc but i know for a fact the idle can be tricky if you don't know the systems. i learned this the hard way. hey you need to come get this cam from me so you will be a little faster and get better mpg in the city.
