I have a guy that has all the h22 parts you want for a decent price. Personally, my h22 and the lsd trans was $2690+ shipping, but that was in 2006. You can get them cheaper if you buy them from someone personally. Google is gonna be your best friend to see which motor you like the most. I enjoy the h22, it has a decent amount of torque, for a Honda. What are your plans for the car? Yes, you have to change the axles with an h22, or, you could do an H2B and keep the b series axles.

How much power do you want to end up with? How much money do you have? How much experience with motor swaps do you have?

A B-series swap is gonna be easier if you can't weld. If you get the right parts, it can bolt in. Whereas an H-swap is going to require grinding and/or welding. There are companies like hasport that make the adapter engine mounts, but the H engines use cables for shifting. The B and D series use mechanical linkage. If you want just plain horsepower, consider a turbocharged D-series, because that can be done for quite a lot cheaper, and there does exist a factory D-series transmission with an LSD.

OP, I would definitely stick to a B series since the H22 will require some custom work to fit properly. I would go for a B18c1, or a B18b. Skip the B16, don;t end up paying like $2.5K for a swap and only gaining 40 hp/7lb. tq.

+1 to the LSD D series trans.

My H22 was put in and nothing was cut... and no expensive kit was bought for the swap. It's a pain when ya work on things. (part of chasis is in the way when pulling transmission out, etc) it takes a little more patience

i think i might get the b18 ijust cuz its cheaper n less parts i have to buy like tranny n axles for da h22 whereas as i think i might just b able to drop the b18 n just need da ecu n wirin harness i want a b18c but cant really find one n thers a guy that said he can get me a b18b full swap for 1200 so think dats not a bad deal
