Under Georgia law, you cannot get a title bond on an abandoned car, but what if you bought an abandoned car from someone and get a title bond on it? Is that different? All you need for a title bond (besides the paperwork from the insurance company and personal info) is a bill of sale with a notary public stamp.

If the car was abandoned on a persons property for more than 30 days. Then a ad is ran in the local paper to see if a owner comes forth.
Then if the car isnt claimed you can buy it from the property owner. If its previous registered in that state then a bill of sale with notary stamp is good to get a bonded title.
