As if last year's six month work abstinence wasn't enough, I've already started planning on this year's run. Taking the family to Disney World for a week. Just rented the condo and bought the tickets.
Fuck this is expensive. Good thing I'm rich.
Anyone ever been and, if so, what are the good rides?
Last time I went, Epcot wasn't even open to the public yet. Later, QD.

Nice. My brother works for Disney (Works on Video Games) and has the hook up for me if I ever feel the need to go. He gets a certain amount of free tickets each year. I haven't been to Disney World in about 16 years though, but I hear its fun.

its alright, prepair to spend all your cash on food and drinks, its a great place for the family though, and they have some badass rides.
you will enjoy it, and if i were you, i would get the hot pass thing or what ever its called to get in front of the lines, because its going to be swamped with people there!!
a litle expensive, but well worth it.

That's the reason for the condo. Bringing our own shit! Of course, we'll buy drinks and all, and maybe a snack or two, but nothing more than that. Later, QD.

Lets see good rides. Space mountain, tower of terror, mt everest, rock'n'roller coaster, movie ride, spaceship earth
good shows: indiana jones and the lights camera motors show
Magic Kingdom: Mostly the DISNEY stuff, much more focused on the Kids
Epcot: The international walk on the different countries is cool and each country puts on a show outside most of which are pretty neat
MgM: Best shows and two good rides
Animal Kingdom: Mt Everest is pretty awesome its new, has the safari tour and stuff.
Downtown Disney and Citywalk aren't far and also have some neat stuff
I've been about 15 times my moms an addict
If you want to ride the epcot rides (there are two big ones and fuck if i can't think of the name right now) GET THERE MAD EARLY, they'll fill up fast!!
Also if you can swing someone at one of the hotels to sell you the bracelet to get in to the magic kingdom after hours (until 2) they have someo f the more popular rides open such as space mountain w/basically no line
Also, if your leg hurts, rent a wheelchair, you'll also get on more rides and a lot faster ;)

Damn near 8 and damn near 4. This trip is really for them and my wife. The wife has never been. And my (almost) 8 year old has always been, and still is, heavily into Disney princesses. I told my wife I don't care at all about going and that I was going because I did want them to have the fun/experience.

I was about 11 or 12. This was back around 1981.

Since we're doing the 3-day pass, we're doing Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studio. I actually remember the Space Mountain ride, It's a Small World After All ride and the Haunted Mansion ride. Thanks for the tips/input. Later, QD.

Well a lot of the rides I listed are the "funner" rides. For the kids Haunted mansion (they just redid it) pirates of the Caribbean, they have a stitch show in future world near space mountain, and animal kingdom will have a ton of stuff they'll love. I would suggest epcot one day if you get time tho

You should go to Blizzard Beach or one of the waterparks. Should be nice weather for it and the kids will like it.

I took my kids to Disneyland couple years ago, but that doesn't help you at all.
