I hate BMW's.

I bought this car on the 5th of this month, it failed emissions, changed 02 sensor, still failed emissions, and now my Serpentine belt just happens to slip off today. It now sits in a Taco Bell Parking lot with 30 day tags...

Uhhh. OLD BMWs are the RELIABLE BMW, anything newer than a E30 is complete SHIT.

Its not necessarily making me hate the brand because of a serpentine belt, but Ive only had the car for 2 weeks. I gotta hate something. And I've never seen a serpentine belt just slip off.. NOT break, slip off. It's still sitting there intact with no rips that I can see lol

OMG my 02 sensors are having the SAME problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to get my emissions passed. It may be your cats..... :( I put new 02 senors on my car and that didn't fix anything.

Its a used car though. I mean, I know I got reemed for complaining about MINE when mine was black smoking and missing and people gave me shit. But yours is justa belt. What is it an ALT belt? Fuk that belt, get a friend to jump u and drive it till it dies, get another jump and die and get the bish home.

Well I could, but I have no power steering and no fan. So Its hard to steer and my car runs hot after a minute. It would take me an hour+ to drive 5 miles lol. My friend is suppose to help me change it in the parking lot when he gets off. We'll see... then back to the emissions problem lol.

and I know any used car will have problems, but I thought I would atleast be able to get it registered first lol
