I was wondering if anybuddie has got some good info on this or has done it. I know about the HondaTech thread but it doesn't have much info about the F22b1 with the h22 head. But if anyone has any Info it would be nice. Reps also

Why not go with the JDM F22B? Its an F22A1 block with an H23 head from factory. If you want vtec maybe hunt down a jdm h23 vtec head.

Usually has the f23 block, k20 type S pistons, and H22 head.
You have to plug 2 oil holes on the bottom of the head because the H22 head has 8 oil drain holes but the f23 block only has 6.

So what about the f22b1 that's what I'm trying to find out. Cause I already have that motor and a a4 head. Can those two not go together or what?

Well seeing it is a low comp motor I wouldn't expect it to be to fast but with a nice t3/t4 turbo in a Eg hatch.. Now that will be a fast car

I'm sure it is going to be the same on having to plug the holes in the head, but yeah with a t3/t4 i'm sure the car will be nice to drive around and be a fun daily to play with.
