I just got done putting my H22A in my new prelude. The car originally had the F22. I re-used the harness. but threw in my h22 ecu and everything else. When i switch the car on the battery light comes on, but no check engine light or oil light. Also the harness is for an external coil, but i'm now running an internal one. Will that matter at all? Everything is wired up fine now, but no spark!! Any help or ideas?? I'll look more into it tomorrow. Just trying to get some pointers right now. Thanks!!:goodjob:

bad coil or ignitor? Recheck the wiring.

Did you splice the wiring from the harness to run the internal coil? If not, I'd start there; I figured you'd post something up after you looked at it since the OP, but..

Care to share how you fixed the problem (not for me, but anyone else who may run into the same issue).

I was actually thinking about that. Lol.
Well i checked the pinout of the external coil plug off of the engine harness. I found which ones were power or ground. I went back to the harness and jumped the two bottom connections of the plug and it fired right up. Just to be careful i placed a 30 fuse between the two to prevent anything. No cutting or modifying the harness at all, and the problem is fixed.
