Where do you all see this series going? Will it be around for a while? Entries rising or declining?

It will definitely be around for a while. Contracts have been extended until at least 2012 and for the 2010 season the Prize winnings have risen. With Atlantics and Champ Car gone, sportscars in ALMS is the "top" road racing in the States. IMSA Lites serves as a feeder series to the ALMS series even more so now with the introduction of the LMPC class. Several of the Lites racers have moved up to the C-cars. The Lites cars run the same/slightly faster times as the GT2 cars. The entries have stayed fairly consistent with new drivers moving in as others move on.

So they are similar in speed to Daytona Prototypes?

I cant remember what they run compared to us, but it should be similar. We race together at New Jersey so if someone feels like looking up those times........
