Tie rod end?

You can "mark" were the thread, was then take it off... Then replace and screw on to same spot..(your mark)

Get some Marker or something of that nature..

Before loosening the Nut for the tie rod end.. Mark the position of it...

Unscrew the Tie rod end off... Screw the New one on until you get to your "set" mark.....

This way your Toe wont be out of line too much...

I changed both tie rods and my car rides like shit.. I strongly recommend to get a alignment... Only $40-50... G/L

if you do it right you dont need a alignment
like black4drek said, mark where the old tie rod end was and screw it to the same spot on the new tie rod was. count the bumps ( w/e you call them).
if you really fail at counting than take it for a alignment and they'll count for you and charge 50 buckx
