Hello IA i have a 98 civic hatch with a 98 gsr in it ecu, tranny, the works. The problem im having is my car will idle fine and everything warm or cold but once i get the car going it will have a sticking idle around 2000-2500 rpms. It does this driving normally once i put it in neutral the idle does not come down it stays around that area. But once i come to a dead stop it will idle perfectly fine again. It use to actually idle around 2500-3000 rpms but i got a iacv from a friend and now it idles perfectly fine except from what Ive explained. Please help me out its confusing the hell out of me thanks.

seafoam that bitch. Clean the IACV and generally seafoam the motherfucker.
If you're gonna do it in the vacuum line, use the brake booster vacuum hose.

hey, I found a tutorial for your car.
Thank me later.

Im having that same problem, except my idle stays around 1500-2000 even when I'm stopped.
It only happens when the car is warmed up and I have been driving for 15+ minutes on a hot day.

Im gonna take off my throttle body and clean it out, as well as my FICV IACV and check all my vacuum lines. Pisses me off.
