Im guessing it was a KL-DE, The JDM version is a KL-ZE, which comes in Mazdas only like 626, mx6 and shit of that nature. But also had the option of the KL-DE version. The difference is the intake, cams, and compression. The KL-DE is 164HP, and the KL-ZE is 200HP.

If you're a 240 owner chances are you stand by car your, make it look like you drift, and do a burnout. Most are straight posers. If you're busting your balls trying to learn, good go for it, if you're a dumb fuck kid who thinks RWD = drift you're a fucking moron.

Example: A few Athens meets ago we had these "drift" kids come, there is a lot below us where people can fuck around and the police don't care, they showed us their "skill." I truly have never seen a worse show than the one they provided. It was like watching a circus of morons.

In the end, half those "drifters" are hard parking posers with no skill and will never gain the skill required to do it right. They will blame it on a lack of LSD, lack of suspension, slipping clutch, you name it. However they will talk, dress, and attend drift events and spread their skater type lifestyle to others.

Remember the kids who wore the skateboard clothes, talked the talk, and carried a board around? They own 240's now.

However, converting a car to RHD is the most useless, rice-tastic mod ever. It does nothing but make driving your car harder... I'm sure it's cool for the first three times you go through the Checkers drive-thru, but what's the point? Or going to tolls. lol. It's the common name for a lip made of garden edging or garage door lining. I've done it before, lots of race cars do, it's more of an air dam than a lip.

I ran one on my Miata, I made a aluminum back for it so it was strong. It worked great and never broke, I had an 80+mph off once and it didn't even break. If I had a $$$ lip I bet it would of been smashed.
